About
Heidi is a board-certified music therapist living in Northern Virginia. She spent most of her life growing up in Colorado where she attended Colorado State University (Go Rams) to obtain a bachelor's degree in music therapy. During her last year there, she served as the prospective student committee chair for the music therapy student association.
Heidi completed her internship with Fairfax County Public Schools working with high school students with a range of abilities including autism, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders. After completion of internship, Heidi worked at a private practice and gained experience working with children with a variety of disabilities as well as leading groups in assisted living and memory care units.
Having a career in music therapy is a dream come true for Heidi because she loves music and helping others reach their full potential. How exciting that she gets to combine those two passions everyday! Heidi is proud to be a part of the NeuroSound team and serve the community of Northern Virginia.
